Mermaid gift basket winner! And AudioBook release of The Ransom!

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!  Ours was small, just 3 of us this year, but the food was delish (if I do say so myself since I was the cook)  and the company great.   Anyway, I want to thank all of you for entering to win the Mermaid Gift Basket which includes:

  • Gorgeous mermaid handmade exploding picture box  (Thank you, Debbie Mitchell!)
  • Mermaid tears earrings
  • Mermaid jewelry case
  • Ocean-scented body lotion
  • Mermaid necklace
  • Mermaid handmade one of a kind Clipboard  (Thank you, Johnette Ferguson!)
  • Mermaid hand crocheted book mark  (Thank you, Amanda Rog!)
  • Hand drawn Savion and Perdita paper dolls with several gorgeous outfits! (jpgs files)  (Thank you, Karen Martin!)
  • And I'm throwing in a paperback of Tears of the Sea too!

The winner is Jennifer Stevenson Tipton.  Jennifer was randomly drawn by Rafflecopter.   Congrats Jennifer!!  Thank you all for entering and helping me spread the word!

The Ransom is now out on Audio!!!  I hired a professional actress to do the narrating and you won't
believe what an awesome job she did. You'll have to hear it to believe it. She did all the different voices, even Munny, so perfectly.   The audio is 12 and 1/2 hours of pure entertainment and fun. It would make a great gift for the book lover in your family.

Here's a link to hear a sample and find out more on Amazon.

Anyway, happy Black Friday!  Me and crowds don't mix well so I usually stay home on this day. In fact, I'll probably do most of my shopping on line this year. How about you?

  1. Fri Nov 28th,
    "Morning, MaryLu."
Congratulations first of all to Jennifer S T -- enjoy the 'mermaid gift basket' !!!
Even Canada is cashing in on 'the American' Black Friday deals .... as they are trying to keep the Cndn shoppers here in Canada. But I can well imagine the sales' shoppers going literally crazy from the wee hours of the crack-of-dawn when stores opened up in the States. No, I'm not joining in.
And like you MaryLu .. I am choosing to do more shopping from home, on-line. Much less hassle !
How neat -- that The Ransom is availabe on audio !!! That should be atrractive to more clientelle.
Okey-dokey ... guess that's all for now. Have a great wknd, MaryLu ... and all.
Take care, and, God Bless, In Him, Brenda

  2. Congrats Jennifer! I hope you enjoy the awesome gift basket!

How exciting about the audio book! I'm gong to listen to a sample now! Also glad you had a great Thanksgiving! :)

    1. I LOVE the sample! Oh my goodness she does such a great job! I don't do audio books, but this one makes me reconsider! :D

  3. Hi, MaryLu!!

So glad you enjoyed Thanksgiving!! Our family had a delicious meal also - we always box up left-overs and everyone takes some home with them. A friend from church brought her portable keyboard and played, my niece played her guitar, she and her sister also played the keyboard - and everyone sang. The youngest niece (5 years old) kept everyone entertained, also, with her comments and antics.

Congrats to Jennifer on winning the mermaid basket!!

Black Friday: No, I won't be entering in via personally going out to the stores. Too much madness - however, most of the businesses have online Black Friday deals now and I buy gifts throughout the year, when I see a gift someone would like - even better if it is on sale.

Brenda, the Black Friday frenzy starts well before Black Friday now - with Black Friday pre-sales going on days before, and Black Friday deals starting on Thurs. now. It's like the Christmas season - starts earlier every year, it seems. Guess I'm old-fashioned, I like to decorate for Autumn and enjoy Thanksgiving before decorating for Christmas.

The audio sample of "The Ransom" is wonderful, MaryLu!! Congrats!! Thanks, also for the e-mail with the book bargains!!

Love, prayers and hugs - MaryLu!!
