Sailing on the ship to Heaven. Love this picture!
Fantastic picture.....thanks for sharing it!!!
Awesome picture! I'll meet you all aboard when we get there! :-)
Hey, wouldn't it be cool if when we died, God sent a tall ship like this one, captained by angels, to take us to our new home?? I'm going to put in a request. LOL. Now, I'm getting excited about dying. :-)
I Love It!The Gospel Of GraceWords by Ray Boltz, Music by Greg Gilpin and Ray BoltzThey say in the harbor of heavenIs a ship called the Gospel of GraceA glorious ship, that once made a tripThrough the oceans of time and spaceShe followed a star to a stableShe carried the Child of the KingAnd when she set sailSo goes the taleAll of the angels would singCHORUS:The Gospel of Grace is sailingWhat a glorious sight to beholdHer heavenly banners are wavingHer sails are covered with goldThey say when a man looks upon herThe glory will shine on his faceFor therell never beA ship on the seaLike the glorious Gospel of GraceShe sailed to the land of the lonelyTo the meek and the lowly she cameAnd each one she passedFrom the first to the lastWould never again be the sameThe voice of the Father had spokenA heavenly sign had come downAnd everyone knewHis promise was trueThe heavens were filled with the soundCHORUSThen one day she sank to the bottomAt a place called the old rugged crossBut the Child of the King,Now her captainCame sailing her back to the topAnd then as they sailedOff toward heavenHe called out, Get ready my friendsI must go away, but therell come a dayI promise youll see Me againAnd the Gospel of Grace will be sailingWhat a glorious sight well beholdHer heavenly banners a wavingShes coming to carry us homeFor now we see through a glass darklyBut then we will see face to faceAnd as we climb aboardWell give thanks to the LordFor His glorious Gospel of GraceAnd as we climb aboardWell give thanks to the LordFor His glorious Gospel of Grace
Kirsten: I love that! Beautiful!MaryLu: I am with you. I can't wait!
Beautiful picture! (Why does it say "ORINGINAL" at the top?)
Oh Kirsten, I've never heard that song! It's beautiful and a perfect match for this picture. :-) Thank you so much for sharing it! I think it says Original because the designer doesn't want anyone copying it for their own purposes.
This is a picture of a cross stitch pattern that I found online. I think you are right, Cap'n, although anyone could just crop the word out of the picture. I like to think of it as describing God. "Original"
@Debbie MitchellYeah, that's a good way to look at it! I love it! Original...God...awesome!
*gasps*That is beyond amazing!! Now I want to see if I can use a tall ship that comes to the local marina and take the ship sailing off into the coulds!! That would be one exciting sailing trip! :D
