great picture. It does look like it's "too quiet" doesn't it? Like they're just waiting for the right moment...then...blam!
Wed June 29th,"Morning, MaryLu."The colours in this photo are really neat ! Seeing the ships all anchored for the night (in waiting), kind of makes you 'feel like' you want to jump into this shot, and be a part of 'whatever' is to come .... in the morning. All is well, and, quiet ... for the time being .... but ....... Ahhhhh ... I can see a novel coming out of this photograph, MaryLu .....Thanks for sharing.Take care, and, God Bless,In Him, Brenda Hurley
I love all the browns and grays and the detail on the ships...now if only one of them would hoist a Jolly Roger. ;-)
I agree, this is a beautiful picture. The ships are so majestic! The one in the middle appears to be a Christian vessel. Perhaps it be a shipment of Bibles fer the crew. Ye should have the crew prepare for a boardin' party to receive the Word of God! Thanks for sharing this photo, it really gets the imagination going. :)
I think that picture must have been insanely difficult to paint! at least it would be for me :)
Sapphire, if you look close, the ship in the middle has one flying high!
I knew you'd all love this one! Very mysterious, eh?Sheri, good to see you here! I know you've been busy on the farm.Brenda, love your imagination as alwaysSapphire, yes, I do believe Debbie is right.. there is a jolly roger on the middle ship. That be the one carryin' the Word of God.Aye, let's prepare a boardin' party! Kath.. I used to paint so yes, I quite agree. It looks very difficult... which is why I'm sticking to writing! LOL
