Wed July 13th,"Morning, MaryLy."Beautiful painting ... love the variety of colour ! Intense and intriguing ... and the tall-ship -- outstanding ! Well, that would be totally neat -- being both a famous Author, and, a famous Painter !!! (Hope you can get back into oil-painting some time.)Thanks for sharing.Take care, and, God Bless,In Him, Brenda Hurley
Wed July 13th ....Eeeeeh gads !!!! I hit the wrong key up above (in my comment) ..... it was supposed to say -- "Morning, MaryLu" (not Maryly) !!! So sorry about that !Brenda Hurley
Great painting, Maryly! (just kidding; I mean MaryLu; just teasing Brenda) *hugs* Brenda!Anyway, I love how just some simple strokes of a brush can create a work of art. I am a fan of the painter Bob Ross. I love the way he can take a blank canvas and turn it into a beautiful display right before your eyes! I've only dabbled in painting in the past. I used to sketch a bit, too. Oh, to have such a talent! Thanks for sharing. Have a great day!
Actually, MaryLy has a nice sound to it.. very pretty. In fact, I've always hated my name, MaryLu. So, I'm willing to be called anything! Well, almost anything. Glad you ladies liked the painting! I've been editing all morning so I'm off for a walk..
I love the contrast between the oranges of dawn and the deep greens around the ship...not that I know anything about art, lol. :-)I actually love your name, MaryLu! :-)
what a hauntingly beautiful shop...full of mystery and maybe the hint of possible romance on the horizon :) :)When you start painting again, share some pics ;) :) Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)
Awesome! Its so spooky with great colors.I would love to see some of your oil paintings, MaryLu.God Bless!
