Good morning, Brenda!! Yes.. it's quite the exciting battle!! I always look forward to your comments! Hope all is well with you. Hugs
Wow! You know how foot soldiers in the old days just charged at one another? I always wondered if they were killing some of their own guys. This picture makes me ask the same question. With all of the smoke and fire, how do they know who they are shooting at? lol
How true, Debbie! I'm sure they had "friendly fire" incidents at sea as well as land. They could only identify ships by flags.. and they would know where other ships of theirs would be when the battle began.. but in the heat of battle with all the smoke.. I'm sure accidents happened. It was a very dangerous time to live in. Still, I wouldn't mind being transported there for a short time.. :-)
LOVE it - especially the flames from the cannon fire. I just found my new desktop pic! :-)
I might sound a bit weird, but this is beautiful! I feel as if I'm there, caught up in that specific moment.
Sapphire.. I might make it my desktop too!Eszter.. no that doesn't sound weird. There's a lot of action going on in the picture and people who have active imaginations and who are creative can leap right into the scene without even blinking. Happens to me all the time!
