Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. Genesis 6:5-6
Last week we discussed the main problem occurring in the days of Noah and the real reason for the flood. If you missed it, you may want to go back and read it because it's very important to know what's occurring all around you, but in secret. In fact, after I posted that message I received an email from a woman who had several experiences with demons and fallen angels who attacked her and her husband. She wanted to confirm my belief that these Nephilim are still trying to mate with women today. I also wanted to point out that UFOs and Alien encounters have nothing to do with beings from other planets. These are demons and manifestations of demons. In fact, if you read reports of people who've been kidnapped, these "aliens" often experiment on them and are quite interested in human reproduction. But I digress. You can certainly click away now and claim I've lost it, and I know I risk losing some of you, but I need to get the truth out there.
Anyway, moving on with the Days of Noah and Lot, another aspect of the time was the extreme wickedness of that generation. The Scripture tells us that EVERY intent and thought of his heart was only evil continually. That's an amazing statement. Every single intention and thought was evil? What is evil exactly? I think most of us would agree that it encompasses things like rape, murder, thievery, lying, blasphemy, greed, envy, etc... right? But notice it says "heart" not head. A person's heart is where their soul and spirit live. This is the core of the person... the real person.
But Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, “Why do you think evil in your hearts?" Matthew 9:4
A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things. Matt 12:35
The heart is where all evil and all good originate. It is where our faith resides and where we receive Jesus. So, the Scripture here is not talking about someone who thinks about doing evil all the time, but someone who Is evil at his or her core. Their heart is corrupted and in complete darkness.
But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 2 Timothy 3:1-4
So are we seeing this today? If you are a believer and hang out with believers, you may not notice how bad human nature has become. You may see it now and then on the TV news, but I can tell you with assurity that the warning Timothy gave in the above verse is happening today. Ah yes, people put on a smile and wish you well, but if it came down to it, they'd happily stab you in the back if it would benefit them.
Pedophilia: Did you know that since Trump took office there have been almost 3000 pedophile arrests? The media doesn't report on this. The sexual abuse of children is rampant in this country
Child Murder: As I'm writing this, there have been 688,000 children butchered by their mothers in the womb in the US just this year!. Worldwide since 1980 1.5 BILLION.
Extreme Rise of Satanism in America (including child sacrifice) Just google it.
If you don't have your head in the sand, you are probably aware of how bad our world is. You only have to turn on the TV and try to find a decent show or movie to watch. Often the commercials are even worse. Victoria Secret's commercials are pure pornography! Nearly every new show produced by Amazon, Netflix, etc is rated MA for mature audiences. Yet even a show labeled TV14 should be R these days. People everywhere are sleeping around, living with each other, spouses cheat, people think lying is okay, school shootings, pregnancy out of wedlock, drug overdoses killed 63000 in the US in 2016, rioting and violence on the streets...and don't get me started on all our crooked politicians just out for power and money.
But let's talk about the days of LOT for a moment. Lot and his family lived in Sodom. I personally believe the only thing Lot had going for him was that he was Abraham's nephew and like a son to Abraham. I don't believe he was particularly righteous on his own based on what we know about him from Scripture
And the Lord said, “Because the outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grave, Genesis 18:20
What was the sin of Sodom and Gomorrah? We quickly find out in the next chapter of Genesis. It was rampant, violent homosexuality. You can read it for yourself. It's not a pleasant story.
Do we have that today? Is the LBGTQ community pushing their perverted agenda on the entire world, demanding their rights to perform their immorality in public and teach our children to do the same? I say yes. There's rarely even a TV show now that doesn't have a token gay or trans person in it. Makes me sick. Does God love these people? Absolutely! Does He love the people who are evil? Absolutely. And He is begging them to repent and turn to Him and live!!! But God is a just judge and sin will not go unpunished for long. He proved that by raining fire and brimstone down on Sodom and Gomorrah and also when he flooded the entire earth.
Are we living in the days of Noah? I'll let you decide
And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed. Luke 17:26-30
Next week, part 3: A final aspect of the Days of Noah and Lot.
